Environmental Portrait: Erin Jimerson
Erin Jimerson is a third year student dual-enrolled at OSU and LBCC. She's currently majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Journalism. Erin has lived in both Corvallis and Albany, Oregon her entire life. She enjoys the outdoors, being creative, reading, and singing. Erin has had a passion for art since she was a young child and some of her earliest memories are of her drawing on the floor with her dad. She paints as a form of worship and her artwork typically depicts Christian themes. Her current art project, pictured in this photo, is inspired by a friend who went through a traumatic experience. Her vision for this project is to create a landscape of Nazareth, Israel that symbolizes both the death and birth of innocent lives. She hopes to start her own non-profit organization one day called The Art House, where teenagers can express their creativity in a safe and loving place.
