On the Job: Roast Runners Café and Regal Albany Cinema

 Roast Runners Café

Mila Uemura has been working at Roast Runners Café for just three weeks and she already loves it. Roast Runners sells coffee, energy drinks, pastries and more. They are located on the Albany Linn-Benton campus next to the Student Union. When asked what her favorite part about the job is she immediately replied, "The people. I love getting to work with these people." Her favorite activity to do in her free time is play the piano. 10/16/23

Regal Albany Cinema

Kaitlynn Hughes has been the General Manager at the Regal Albany Cinema for a little over a year. Her favorite movie is Whiplash. A few of the movies currently playing at Regal are Killers of the Flower Moon, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, and Saw X. Her favorite part about working at Regal is "the people and the staff. Everyone is really genuine and wants to be here." Outside of work, Kaitlynn enjoys drawing, watching movies, and playing with her cats. She has three cats, Nebby, Virgil, and Sven. 10/19/23
